Ward was born at MonroeLouisianaon 14 April1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian primary school. Ward was a student at Ouachita high school in the parish to complete her secondary schooling. Then she transferred to River Oaks High School the summer after her senior year. Following graduation, she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward, then 13, was modeling when she quit school. After graduation, she relocated in New York to pursue this profession. The film was not a huge success in cinemas however it did very well in the home and on cable. Following the film, Ward was in a cameo role in the hit movie Shallow Hal. In her private life she was the wife of David C. Robinson. The couple had a boy called Cameron.
